The SIA Door Supervisor licence tends to be the preferred SIA licence for employers regardless of the role you are carrying out. This licence does allow you to work where alcohol is being consumed (pubs & clubs) but also in retail (shops, supermarkets etc), building or factory sites. Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work is a minimum pre requisite prior to starting a security course. This section is taken on the first day of the seven day course unless already achieved with a minimum of 12 months left before the certificate expires. To be exempt RDS must have a copy of your certificate. This part consists of e learning (approximately 2 hours) completed before the course and 5 hours or practical including a multiple choice exam (15 questions, pass mark 11). L2 Award Door Supervision (DS) course contains 4 sections:- Working in the Private Security Industry – multiple choice exam (72 questions, pass mark 50). Working as a Door Supervisor – tutor assessment on searching & multiple choice exam (50 questions, pass mark 35) Conflict Management in the Private Security Industry – tutor assessment & multiple choice exam (20 questions, pass mark 14). Physical Intervention in the Private Security –Tutor assessment & multiple choice exam (30 questions, pass mark 24). Please note: This training requires a reasonable level of physical fitness. It does not exclude people with disabilities, but all injuries must be notified in advance of the course. RDS Training Ltd will not be held liable for any injuries that were not reported prior to or during the course. The cost of the course includes Registration, Certification, Light lunch, tea & coffee. All prices are inclusive of VAT. The fee for the licence is not included. The course is accredited by Highfield Qualifications. Please note: There are very strict entry requirements, consequently you must produce as proof of identity one group A document and two group B documents on the first day of training. Online group B documents can be e mailed to info@rdstraining.co.uk for printing if required.
