This qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the movement and assistance of people and is intended as a further development qualification. It is also suitable as refresher training. This is underpinned by the safe principles of moving and handling but recognises the special skills required when assisting and moving people including the use of: Wheelchairs Crutches Walking frames Roller sheets Boomerang boards Mechanical Hoist Highfield Level 2 Award in Moving People Safely course includes: registration certification Accredited by: Highfield Qualificaitons The qualificaton consists of: Part 1 Manual handling at work Knowledge, practical assessment and multiple choice exam (15 questions with a pass mark of 9) Part 2 Moving people safety Knowledge, practical assessment and multiple choice exam (15 questions with a pass mark of 9) Multiple choice examinations are taken on the computers at the centre. Results are instant and resits can be taken on the day if required. You must have a form of identity on your person when taking the examinations such as bank card, driving licence, passport, work ID etc. Certificates are electronic and will be e mailed within 5 days of successfully completing the course.
