This Level 2 Award in Fire Safety qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire. Learners gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace and will recognise the consequences of fire in any premises. Course Venue: RDS Training Centre in Hull, East Yorkshire This qualification is assessed by a 20 question multiple-choice examination. Successful candidates must achieve a score of at least 12 out of 20. The examination paper is set and marked by Highfield Qualifications. The maximum duration of the examination is 45 minutes. Any required resits can be booked on the same day. During the day every delegate will have the opportunity to physically set off a water, foam and CO2 extinguisher. Please ensure that you wear suitable clothing to go outside and be aware that you may get foam and / or CO2 on your clothing. You will be required to produce proof of identity for the course and examination. ID will be required on the day of training. Without the ID you will NOT BE ALLOWED to take the examination. For example, you could bring your driving licence, bus pass, passport, bank card etc. The cost of the course includes: training, registration, certification and light lunch.

Terms & Conditions 1. Definitions 1.1 RDS Training Limited, Old Dock Offices, high Street, Hull HU1 1HA Company registration number 06615877 here in after referred to as RDS 1.2 The Student / learner means any person, or representative of a business or company who enters into a contract for the supply of training services. 1.3 Training Courses are courses have been chosen to be undertaken by the student and provided by RDS or any of their appointed trainers. 2. General 2.1 Appointed trainers are the appointed by RDS who have been chosen for their specialist knowledge in their subject to ensure the most relevant and practical training possible. 2.2 Training courses that are advertised may be subject to change in order to remain compliant with any relevant amendments that become necessary. 2.3 RDS will endeavor to provide the training on the dates specified however if reasonable changes become necessary the student will be added to the rescheduled training dates. No refunds will be offered unless significant changes are made. 2.4 RDS is an accredited centre to Highfield Qualifications and Beauty Guilds. 3. Suitability to undertake the training 3.1 The student / learner is required to declare if they consider they have any disabilities which may affect their welfare whilst undertaking the training. 3.2 The student / learner is required to declare any allergies or injuries that may affect their suitability to complete the training prior to payment. Refund will not be provided due to non-declaration. 3.3 The student / learner is required to provide photo ID before commencement of the training. 3.4 All training will be carried out in an expert and diligent manner observing all legal requirements in accordance with any legislation that relates to the reproduction of material, electronic communication and associated requirements that govern that nature of the work being carried out. 4. Tuition fees and payments 4.1 No refunds or course substitutions will be made for non attendance, falling to complete required e-learning and not Passing the required 1st Aid course (SIA Only) to progress . Student substitutions are acceptable prior to the start of the booked course. 5. Confidentiality 5.1 During the course of this contract between RDS and their student, RDS are aware that from time to time will be privy to information that is of a sensitive and confidential nature whether it be financial or specific to the student.
