L3 Delivery of CP Physical Intervention

Service Description

Prior to starting this course your must have achieved the Level 3 Award in Education & Training and the Level 3 Award in Delivery of Conflict Management as these are prerequisites. This Level 3 course is designed to teach you any knowledge that you may lack in this subject and to teach you how demonstrate, teach and assess each of the moves. This qualification consists of: Unit 1: Application of Physical Intervention Skills for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry. Assessed by teacher observation and multiple choice exam. 30 questions. Pass mark is 24. Unit 2: Delivering Physical Intervention Training. Assessed by teacher observation. Upon completion you will be provided with a dropbox link to all of the resources to be used for the level 2 course and a licence to use the RDS package for the next 12 months. It is an SIA. At the end of the 12 months you will need to attend a refresher course which is approximately 4 hours to be issued with the next 12 month licence. This training requires a reasonable level of physical fitness. It does not exclude people with disabilities but all injuries must be notified in advance of the course. RDS Training Ltd will not be held liable for any injuries that were not reported prior to or during the course. The level 3 Delivery of Physical Intervention for Close Protection Operatives is developed by the SIA and therefore has the same ID requirements as a full SIA course. Consequently, you must produce as proof of identity one group A document and two group B documents on the first day of training.
