Door Supervisor Refresher Course

Service Description

This course is for anyone who gained their SIA qualifications post April 2021 or completed a DS or CP Top Up course since October 2021. Please note if you have not held a door supervisor SIA licence within the last three years, then you cannot take a refresher course If you are in any doubt as to which course, you should be taking please e mail the office on info@rdstraining.co.uk. You must already hold a first aid qualification with at least 12 moths before it expires, please e mail a copy to RDS to confirm whether it is acceptable to the SIA. This training requires a reasonable level of physical fitness. It does not exclude people with disabilities but all injuries must be notified in advance of the course. RDS Training Ltd will not be held liable for any injuries that were not reported prior to or during the course. The Refresher course consists of: Pre course completion of workbook which will be sent via e mail, ACT Awareness and ACT Security which is completed at https://www.protectuk.police.uk/user/login. Please note pre course work cannot be completed on the day or after the course. No refunds will be issued for non-completion of pre course work. During the course you will complete: Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor – 35 questions, pass mark is 26. Application of Physical Intervention – 30 questions, pass mark is 24. An observed practical assessment of searching (people, bags and clothing) and physical intervention. Please note: There are very strict entry requirements, consequently you must produce as proof of identity one group A document and two group B documents on the first day of training. Online group B documents can be e mailed to info@rdstraining.co.uk for printing if required. The cost of the course includes Registration, Certification, Light lunch, tea & coffee. All prices are inclusive of VAT. The fee for the licence is not included. The course is accredited by Highfield Qualifications.
