Combined L3 CP PI & CP Top Up

Service Description

The course is 4 days for CP Top Up. If you require the full first aid course or first aid refresher, please mail RDS prior to booking as you will require 2 days first aid. The SIA have stipulated the following contact hours for the Top Up course: Counter terrorism exam (10 pass mark 7). You must provide your ACT certificates before the course. You complete these by creating an account at https://www.protectuk.police.uk/catalogue. Working as a door supervisor as a close protection officer (29 questions 72% pass) 13 hours doors physical intervention (30 questions pass mark 24) 20 hours CP physical intervention. (30 questions pass mark 24) There have been a slight reduction due to cross over between the two PI units resulting in a total contact time of 39 hours. DS unit can be completed as distance learning. The Level 3 Delivery of CP PI also contains : Unit 2 – Delivery of Physical Intervention Training – there are no set contact hours for this unit. You will be required to deliver a section of the CP PI package in a micro teach format. These qualifications can be delivered together. You will also receive a DS PI licence agreements to ensure your DS & CP PI teaching licences can be renewed on the same day the following year. All examinations are taken on a computer to enable instant results, unless you are unlucky and Highfield select your exam for audit. Resit examinations are available if required at no additional charge. Once you have successfully completed the course your will be sent a dropbox link to access the power point and resources. You will be issued a licence to use / deliver the RDS CP PI moves. Please note: There are very strict entry requirements, consequently you must produce as proof of identity for the course and examinations your ID and digital photographs will be taken on the first day of training.
