Service Description

L2 Award Door Supervision (DS) course contains 4 sections:- • Working in the Private Security Industry – multiple choice exam (72 questions, 110 minutes, pass mark 50) • Working as a Door Supervisor – multiple choice exam (50 questions, 75 minutes, pass mark 35) • Conflict Management in the Private Security Industry – multiple choice exam (20 questions, 30 minutes, pass mark 14). • Physical Intervention in the Private Security – multiple choice exam (30 questions, 45 minutes, pass mark 24). All units contain sections that are assessed by the teacher in addition to the exam. Please note: This training requires a level 1 standard of English reading, speaking and writing ability and a reasonable level of physical fitness. It does not exclude people with disabilities, but all injuries must be notified in advance of the course. RDS Training Ltd will not be held liable for any injuries that were not reported prior to or during the course. First aid is a prerequisite to starting a DS course. You must complete the First Aid eLearning (your log in details will be e mailed to you by Highfield e learning), It is your responsibility to ensure that you receive the log in and complete the e learning prior to the course. You must successfully pass the exam at the end of the first day which is based on the first aid e leaning to be able to continue onto the door supervisor course. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED FOR FALLING TO FOLLOW OUR INSTRUCTIONS OR FAILING TO PASS THE FIRST AID EXAM. The course is Accredited by Highfield Qualifications. The course fee does not include the fee for the SIA licence which is £184 after successful completion of the course. Please note: There are very strict entry requirements, consequently you must produce as proof of identity for the course and examinations your ID will be required on the first day of training. Without the specific ID you will NOT BE ALLOWED to take the examinations or attend the course. A combination of identity: please see list Group A documents You need to provide 1 x document group A.
