Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

Service Description

The Level 2 Award in Food Safety qualification is aimed at individuals who are, or intend to be, food handlers working in catering, manufacturing or retail. It is also appropriate for those providing services to catering premises including pest-control operators, maintenance engineers, cleaners, laundry and delivery personnel. This Level 2 Food Safety course is a 1-day course, held from 9 am to 5 pm. This is a single unit qualification, assessed by a 30 question multiple-choice examination. Successful candidates must achieve a score of at least 20 out of 30. The examination paper is set and marked by Highfield. The duration of the examination is 1 hour. Please state on the booking form whether you require catering, manufacturing or a retail food safety certificate.
