This Level 2 Allergen Awareness & Control course is ideal for anyone who is involved with food preparation and service. Subjects covered include: Legal requirements when providing allergen information. Intolerance versus allergic reactions. Common Food Allergens and foods commonly causing intolerances. Common symptoms of food intolerances and allergic reactions. How to avoid cross contamination and action to take if it occurs. How to react if a person suffers an intolerance or anaphylactic reaction. Level 2 Award in Allergen Awareness and Control course includes: 1-day training, registration, certification & light lunch Accredited by Highfield Qualifications Assessed by 15 multiple choice question exam which can be retaken on the day. Pass mark is 9 or more out of 15.
