Funding for Local people

Funding for local people

In these times of uncertainty, it is great news that RDS Academy CIC have been able to win more funding for local people in Hull and across the surrounding areas.

This funding opportunity is for anyone over the age of 19+ that is unemployed or on low income.

The Personal Development for Employability program can help people that want to work in the care or security industry.

Funded Personal Development for Employability programs available include:

Free Security SIA Course

Free Care Certificate Course

Delivering these courses at this time means that they have to be delivered in a totally safe way using zoom, online training and workbooks.

RDS Academy CIC are happy to embrace new ways of learning in the current crisis and the team are looking forward to supporting people in the coming months.

RDS Academy CIC Owner Sharon Porter comments

“RDS is adapting and evolving to give people the qualifications they need. Online courses will enable unemployed and low-income individuals to access government funded courses within the current guidelines. Then we can progress you to the face to face training that you might need.

We have invested to ensure our building is safe. We have had air sterile units fitted that remove viruses, allergens and dust out of the air. We have lots of hand sanitiser and we will even give you a bandana face covering if you need one for close contact activities or just using public transport.

RDS understands the uncertainty of the current situation and the insecurity that these changes have inflicted upon individuals. As always, we are here to help in any way we can. “

If you are interested in these funded courses then please CALL to discuss how we can help you!
