A first aider for mental health supports a role in the workplace and/or to give learners personal growth and engagement in learning, specifically in relation to understanding the principles of first aid for mental health.

The award in First Aid at Work is a qualification aimed at those who wish to become a First Aider in the workplace for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
The 3-day First Aid at Work qualification is valid for 3 years, This 2-day course will maintain the qualification of First Aiders.
This course is intended as an introduction to first aid at work for low risk workplaces or for an individual to support a level 3 first aid at work qualified person.
This L3 Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is aimed at individuals wishing to gain the knowledge and skills required to enable them to provide effective emergency paediatric first aid.
This qualification is designed for anyone whose work involves children aged from infant to teenager. Ideal for nursery, any parent or school teacher.

The objective of this qualification is to support a role in the workplace and/or to give learners personal growth and engagement in learning, specifically in relation to understanding mental health in the workplace, how mental ill-health may affect employees and how managers can support employees.
This course is an introductory session to raise awareness of adult mental health.
It is designed to give you:
An understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma
A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues
An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing
Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue.
