The aim of the HABC PLH qualification is to provide candidates with essential knowledge of the legal framework surrounding the sale of alcohol in England and Wales.
This course is for anyone who sells alcohol or tobacco. The course is certification by the HABC and is recommended for anyone working in public houses, off licences, restaurants or any other outlets selling alcohol.
This Award in Food Safety in Catering, manufacturing or retail is a qualification intended for candidates working in food handling businesses and those who are preparing to work in the industry. Persons gaining this qualification will know that food safety is the responsibility of everyone involved in the storage, preparation, cooking, service and handling of food. The subjects covered are regarded by the Foods Standards Agency as being important to ensure good practice and the production of safe food.
This Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering course is ideal for anyone working as a supervisor, team leader or line manager in the catering and hospitality industry. Subjects covered include microbiology, hazards and controls, food poisoning, personal hygiene, premises and equipment, cleaning and disinfection, pest management, food safety management, supervisory management, legislation and enforcement.
The course is certificated by the HABC. It is designed to assist employees and volunteers to deal with frustrated or angry customers who may or may not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
